Journeyman Plumber

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in new construction plumbing, mechanical systems, and site installation. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial and residential settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes. The Journeyman Plumber will work on various projects that require technical expertise, precision, and efficiency to deliver quality workmanship alongside a Master Plumber. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately Conduct remodeling and renovation work involving plumbing components Assist with construction site setup, including heavy lifting and material handling Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety regulations, and industry standards Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and materials used Collaborate with team members on complex projects requiring carpentry, handyman skills, or assembly work Skills Proven experience in new construction plumbing and site installation projects Proficiency in plumbing and blueprint interpretation Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on job sites as needed Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols and OSHA standards Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout work Experience with remodeling or renovation projects is a plus Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality workmanship This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects requiring technical expertise in plumbing and construction. Pay:

$38.00 - $50.00 per hour
