Full Job Description Responsibilities:
  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems
  • Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures
  • Weld or solder pipes and fittings together using various techniques
  • Test plumbing systems for leaks and other issues
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure efficient and effective plumbing installations
  • Provide excellent customer service and address any client concerns or questions
Skills:
  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools commonly used in plumbing work
  • Ability to assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, valves, and fixtures accurately
  • Capable of performing heavy lifting as required for the job
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to plumbing installations
  • Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues
  • Familiarity with reading schematics and blueprints to understand plumbing layouts
  • Mechanical knowledge to understand the operation of various plumbing systems
  • Valid driver's license for commercial driving if required

Summary As a Journeyman Plumber, you will lead skilled plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance, collaborating with project teams and supervising apprentices as needed. You will apply expertise in fixture installation, new plumbing fixture setups, welding, and the use of power and hand tools to ensure reliable, code-compliant systems. Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities will support client inquiries. You will report to the supervisory team, ensuring high-quality workmanship, safety compliance, and efficient project execution. Your hands-on skills and dedication will help deliver lasting plumbing solutions.
