Job Description

Position Overview:
As a plumbing technician, your responsibility is to perform residential and commercial plumbing services, including drain cleaning and repair work. A plumbing technician is customer-focused, technically skilled, and comfortable presenting and selling recommended plumbing solutions to clients in a professional and ethical manner
Responsibilities:
Plumbing and Technical Duties Diagnose, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties. Install and repair water lines, plumbing fixtures fixtures, valves, and plumbing and boiler systems. Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues with accuracy Work independently to complete jobs safely, efficiently, and professionally Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with customers and office Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes, safety standards, and company policies. On call rotation Customer Service & Sales Responsibilities Communicate clearly with customers regarding diagnoses, repair options, and pricing Present recommended repairs or upgrades and sell plumbing services based on customer needs Build trust with customers through professional appearance, honesty, and quality workmanship Upsell preventative maintenance, system upgrades, or additional services when appropriate Obtain customer approval before performing work General Responsibilities Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked service vehicle Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE Participate in ongoing training to stay current with plumbing techniques and products Represent the company in a professional manner at all times Working Conditions Field-based work environment with exposure to indoor and outdoor elements. Regularly required to stand, kneel, crawl, and work in confined spaces. May be exposed to dirt, waste materials, odors, and varying weather conditions. Standard schedule is Monday-Friday, with rotational on-call duties for after-hours emergencies may be required.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2+ years plumbing experience Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems Boiler experience is a plus Drain cleaning experience preferred ServiceTitan experience is a plus but not required Excellent customer service skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Willingness to practice continual learning and growth of your skills Valid driver's license and clean driving record High school diploma or equivalent Flexible schedule required Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces Basic computer and tablet skills for documentation and invoicing
