Residential Plumbing Service Technician (Per Diem/Project)

We are seeking an experienced Residential Plumbing Technician to join our team on a per diem / project-based basis. This role is ideal for a skilled technician who is comfortable working independently, handling service calls, and completing jobs from diagnosis through payment collection. This position has the potential to grow into a steady part-time or full-time role as our workload continues to expand. Responsibilities Diagnose plumbing issues on-site and recommend solutions Perform residential service work following company pricebook and standard operating procedures Complete jobs efficiently and to a high standard Collect payment upon job completion Maintain clear and professional communication with customers Represent the company in a positive and professional manner Qualifications Experience in residential plumbing service required Ability to confidently diagnose and complete jobs independently Rough-in experience is a plus (not required) Comfortable working on a per project / as-needed basis Strong customer service and communication skills Reliable and punctual Tools & Requirements Must have own hand tools Power tools will be provided Must be able to travel within North Jersey Meet at our location and use a company vehicle for the job, or Meet directly at the job site when appropriate Expectations Punctuality and reliability are critical If you confirm availability for a scheduled job and fail to show up without notice, you will not be considered for future opportunities Compensation $40/hour or 18% of the total job price — whichever is higher This structure ensures fair pay on smaller jobs while rewarding efficiency and performance on larger tickets Technicians who can diagnose, complete work independently, and produce higher-value jobs will have the opportunity to earn significantly more per hour Growth Opportunity Opportunity to transition into a consistent part-time or full-time position as the company grows We are looking for professionals who take pride in their work and show up when they say they will
