We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber who shares our commitment to excellence and customer service. Position Summary The Journeyman Plumber is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of plumbing systems and fixtures across a diverse portfolio of commercial office buildings, retail centers, industrial properties, and mixed-use developments. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of building plumbing systems while providing outstanding service to tenants and property managers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Inspect, diagnose, and repair commercial plumbing systems, including water, sewer, gas, and drainage systems. Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing infrastructure to minimize downtime and costly repairs. Install and replace plumbing fixtures, piping, valves, water heaters, backflow prevention devices, pumps, and related equipment. Respond promptly to plumbing emergencies, including leaks, sewer backups, clogged drains, and water service interruptions. Troubleshoot and repair commercial restroom systems, flush valves, sinks, faucets, and drinking fountains. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. Coordinate with property managers, maintenance technicians, contractors, and tenants to complete work efficiently and professionally. Ensure compliance with all applicable plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company standards. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, materials used, and work orders. Assist with capital improvement projects and tenant improvement buildouts as needed. Monitor plumbing systems and recommend upgrades or repairs to improve efficiency and reliability. Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency service. Qualifications Required Current New Mexico Journeyman Plumber License. Minimum of 3 years of commercial plumbing experience. Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent customer service and communication abilities. Preferred Experience working in commercial property management, facilities maintenance, or commercial construction. Backflow Prevention Certification. Holds an MM-98 or equal qualification license. Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Ability to climb ladders, work from elevated platforms, and access confined spaces. Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching. Pay:
$29.48 - $35.51 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
