Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Plumber Helper, where you'll play a vital role in supporting skilled plumbers on a variety of plumbing projects. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction plumbing, pipe installation, and maintenance tasks. You'll work in fast-paced environments, assisting with the installation, repair, and remodeling of plumbing systems while developing your mechanical skills and industry knowledge. This paid position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to learn and grow within the construction field. Responsibilities Assist licensed plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems on construction sites. Handle a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to support plumbing tasks. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to aid in accurate pipe fitting and system setup. Support the assembly and installation of piping, fixtures, and related components in residential or commercial projects. Help with pipe threading, cutting, fitting, and basic troubleshooting of plumbing issues. Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly storing tools and materials. Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure work site for yourself and team members. Requirements Previous experience or familiarity with construction sites is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Basic knowledge of construction plumbing, pipe threading, hand tools, power tools, and schematics is advantageous. Mechanical aptitude with an understanding of HVAC systems or general maintenance is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams accurately. Strong physical stamina to stand, lift, bend, and work in various weather conditions throughout the day. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills on the job. Pay:
$12.54 - $24.50 per hour
