Skills & Qualifications Plumbing expertise — Strong knowledge of residential and commercial plumbing systems Troubleshooting skills — Ability to diagnose leaks, clogs, fixture issues, and system failures Hand and power tool proficiency — Skilled with tools commonly used in service plumbing Customer communication — Ability to explain issues and solutions clearly to customers Blueprint and schematic reading — Ability to interpret system layouts when needed Mechanical aptitude — Strong understanding of plumbing components and system behavior Physical capability — Able to lift equipment, work in tight spaces, and perform hands‑on repairs Clean driving record — Valid driver's license required Team collaboration — Works well with dispatchers, office staff, and other technicians Responsibilities Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective repair solutions for customers Perform service repairs including leaks, clogs, fixture replacements, water heater service, and more Install and maintain plumbing equipment such as faucets, toilets, pumps, and water heaters Use hand and power tools safely and effectively during service calls Communicate with customers about findings, repair options, and pricing Complete service documentation accurately for each job Follow safety protocols and company standards at all times Maintain company vehicle and keep tools organized and in good working condition
