27726 E-ONE manufactures custom and commercial fire trucks including pumpers and tankers, aerial ladders and platforms, rescues of all sizes, quick attack units, industrial trucks, and ARFF (aircraft rescue firefighting vehicles). Monday- Thursday from 5:00 AM
- 3:30 PM, plus Optional Overtime on Friday and Saturday or Monday
- Thursday from 6:00 am
- 4:30 pm, plus Optional Overtime on Friday and Saturday Independently performs plumbing, electrical, and mechanical assembly and troubleshooting with moderate complexity.
Troubleshoot:
Plumbing systems (leaks, flow issues) Electrical systems (12V DC and 110V AC) Diagnose issues, disassemble components, and complete repairs.Conduct functional testing of:
Lights, sirens, radios, and warning systems Perform equipment setup and changeovers. Identify discrepancies in prints, BOMs, and shop orders. Technical Skills Strong working knowledge of: Plumbing systems (metal and nonmetal piping) Electrical systems (12VDC / 110V AC
) Mechanical assembly practices Ability to work from engineering documentation independently. Familiarity with hydraulic systems (preferred). Problem Solving Determine root cause of failures and implement corrective actions. Identify and segregate non-conforming products. Assist in corrective and preventive action processes. Expectations Consistently meet quality and production standards. Participate in LEAN and continuous improvement efforts. Demonstrate flexibility across multiple work areas. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. The pay scale for newly hired employees in this position at this location in New York is $16.50- $26.
