Plumbing Assistant / Helper

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Plumber's Helper / Assistant to assist licensed plumbers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate is eager to learn the plumbing trade, works well in a team environment, and is comfortable performing physical labor.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment. Carry and organize tools, materials, and supplies at job sites. Dig trenches and prepare work areas for plumbing installations. Cut, measure, and assemble pipes and fittings as directed. Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas. Load and unload materials and equipment from company vehicles. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or licensed plumbers.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous construction or plumbing experience is a plus but not required. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Basic knowledge of hand and power tools. Reliable transportation and punctual attendance. Ability to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces. Valid driver's license required

Mechanical aptitude. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Attention to detail. Problem-solving abilities. Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed.

Work Environment:

Pay Range:

$18-$24 per hour (based on experience)
