Duties Assist experienced plumbers with installing pipes, fixtures, and appliances according to blueprints, schematics, and project specifications Prepare work areas by organizing tools, materials, and equipment such as hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding gear Support the assembly and installation of plumbing systems on construction sites, including cutting, fitting, and securing pipes using hand tools and power tools Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and ensure accurate installation Help with basic maintenance tasks on plumbing equipment and site tools to keep everything in optimal condition Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA standards Collaborate with team members on remodeling, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and general construction tasks as needed Qualifications Prior experience or familiarity with construction sites or handyman work is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Basic knowledge of construction plumbing, pipe threading, welding, carpentry, or mechanical systems is a plus Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately Comfortable using hand tools (such as wrenches, screwdrivers) and power tools (drills, saws) safely and effectively Strong mechanical aptitude with an interest in learning about HVAC systems and plumbing installation techniques Good basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe fitting and layout Physical ability to stand, bend, lift heavy materials, and work at heights on construction sites Previous experience in construction plumbing or remodeling projects is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates Join us today to kick-start your career in the trades!
