Job Description
Plumbing Mechanic West Babylon, NY A well-established plumbing services company is seeking an experienced Plumbing Mechanic to support commercial and residential clients throughout Long Island and the NYC boroughs. This organization has built a strong reputation for quality workmanship, responsive service, and long-term customer relationships. Compensation
- $30 - $45 per hour depending on experience Schedule
- Full-time
- 1st Shift
- On-call availability required as needed Responsibilities
- Diagnose plumbing issues and perform repairs
- Install, assemble, maintain, and repair pipes and plumbing fixtures
- Locate and repair water line leaks
- Clear drain and sewer clogs
- Install and repair toilets, urinals, sinks, water heaters, dishwashers, and other plumbing fixtures
- Test plumbing systems and fixtures to ensure proper operation
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Ensure all work complies with local codes and regulations
- Respond to emergency service calls when required Requirements
- 3-5+ years of commercial plumbing experience required
- Experience installing commercial-grade toilets and urinals
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs
- Strong knowledge of piping and ventilation systems
- Proficient with plumbing tools, materials, and equipment
- Valid driver's license required
- Reliable transportation required
- Vocational training, apprenticeship, or related education preferred Additional Information
