Overview Join our dynamic team as a skilled Plumber , where your expertise will be essential in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across a variety of commercial and residential projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills to deliver top-quality results. As a vital member of our crew, you'll contribute to building safe, efficient, and reliable plumbing infrastructure that meets high standards of craftsmanship and safety. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in new construction, remodeling, and renovation projects. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation and troubleshooting. Use hand tools such as wrenches, pipe threaders, and pliers, along with power tools to cut, assemble, and secure plumbing components. Perform welding tasks when necessary to join metal pipes or components securely. Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols. Read construction schematics and mechanical diagrams to plan installation sequences effectively. Utilize basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout planning. Operate construction machinery or vehicles as needed for transportation of materials or site access. Apply HVAC knowledge when working with heating systems that involve plumbing components. Execute remodeling tasks including fixture replacements or system upgrades with precision. Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections conducted for project documentation. Collaborate with team members such as carpenters and electricians to ensure seamless project execution. Qualifications Proven experience in construction plumbing or related trades with a solid understanding of plumbing systems and installation techniques. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding tools safely and effectively. Strong knowledge of blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to plumbing installations. Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in HVAC systems is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper ergonomics. Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety standards and protocols. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for accurate installations. Knowledge of carpentry principles useful for remodeling projects involving framing or structural adjustments. Valid commercial driver's license (if required) for transporting materials or equipment between sites. Maintenance Person experience or assembly skills beneficial for versatile project support.
