Description:
Seeking a Plumbing Apprentice What we are seeking, The candidate: Apprentices that are interested in further coaching and mentoring. Desire to learn from experienced technicians. Strong attendance and capable of fulfilling 40-hour work week with occasional ability to work weekends. Understanding of residential construction safety and ladder safety. Understanding of installation codes, and initial stages in understanding and reading prints. The physical ability to bend, squat, kneel, grasp, manipulate hand and power tools. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Desire to maintain and promote company moral, professionalism, and friendly work environment. Works with accuracy and sense of urgency.
Plumber Apprentice Responsibilities:
Locating and identifying leaks. Repairing or replacing pipes and parts. Determining the right tools and equipment necessary to successfully complete a job. Assisting with preparing cost estimates for clients. Helping the Plumber to ensure that all work is in accordance with federal, state, and local plumbing codes. Cleaning the job site after the work is completed. Answering client queries. Following the Plumbers' orders and instructions.
Plumber Apprentice Requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalent. Vocational training may be advantageous. Willingness to learn on the job, go through training, and earn a qualification as a Plumber. Adept at using the basic tools of the trade. Good math skills for accurate measurements. Excellent manual dexterity. Strong active listening skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
