Job Summary Owner's Management Company is seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will perform a wide variety of plumbing repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance across our portfolio of apartment communities. The ideal candidate is experienced in residential/multifamily plumbing systems and committed to providing excellent service to our residents while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and install plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, sump pumps, drains, and sewer lines. Perform routine preventive maintenance on plumbing systems in vacant and occupied units. Respond promptly to emergency plumbing calls (including after-hours on a rotating on-call schedule). Clear clogged drains, toilets, and sewer lines using professional equipment. Install and repair faucets, toilets, sinks, bathtubs, showers, and garbage disposals. Conduct leak detection and water damage prevention repairs. Work with the maintenance team on turnovers, renovations, and capital improvement projects. Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used. Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company standards. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Qualifications Valid Ohio Journeyman or Master Plumber License (Preferred). Minimum 10 years of hands-on plumbing experience (multifamily or residential preferred). Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems, fixtures, and troubleshooting. • Hands-on experience working with cast iron, copper and plastic material. Experience with water heaters, sewer cameras, hydro-jetting, and pipe repair/replacement, both above and underground. Ability to read blueprints and plumbing schematics. • Position requires excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor. Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods. Limited on call duties required. Preferred Skills Experience in apartment community or property management maintenance. Knowledge of backflow prevention and certification. EPA Section 608 Certification (for any related HVAC crossover work). Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
