Apprentice Plumber

McLean Plumbing is seeking an Apprentice Plumber in Xenia, Ohio. You will gain hands-on experience and develop essential skills in the plumbing trade. Duties Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings Support the setup and use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as pipe threading machines and welding tools Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project specifications Help with measuring, cutting, fitting, and assembling pipes using basic math skills and carpentry techniques Participate in construction site activities including remodeling projects, HVAC system installations, and general maintenance tasks Follow safety protocols diligently while working with mechanical systems, welding equipment, and on construction sites Support field service operations by assisting with troubleshooting plumbing issues and conducting routine inspections Experience No prior professional experience required; however, familiarity with construction or handyman work is a plus Basic knowledge of construction practices, plumbing systems, or mechanical concepts is advantageous Experience with hand tools, power tools, or pipe threading equipment is beneficial but not mandatory Exposure to construction site environments or remodeling projects will help you succeed in this role Strong willingness to learn new skills such as blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and HVAC basics Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements and material estimations Demonstrated interest in building a career in plumbing or related trades through coursework or hands-on projects Join us as an Apprentice Plumber and take the first step toward a rewarding career in construction plumbing!
