Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and appliances on construction sites or during remodeling projects Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment to complete installations and repairs efficiently Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform preventative maintenance Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry and HVAC technicians to coordinate project tasks Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and project progress for documentation purposes Skills Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong understanding of plumbing codes and safety standards Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to plumbing systems Proficient with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding techniques, and schematics interpretation Mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems and general building maintenance is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while working on construction sites or during remodeling projects Familiarity with construction site procedures, remodeling processes, and field service operations Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations Experience with carpentry or handyman tasks that support plumbing work is advantageous Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or ability to operate company vehicles may be preferred Join our team as a Journeyman Plumber where your expertise will directly contribute to building safe, reliable infrastructure.
