Duties Assist experienced plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems on construction sites and remodeling projects Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to plumbing and HVAC systems Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment safely and effectively under supervision Support the assembly of piping systems, fixtures, and mechanical components according to specifications Conduct basic measurements and calculations using math skills to ensure precise installation and alignment Participate in site cleanup, material handling, and preparation tasks to maintain a safe and organized work environment Gain exposure to construction site safety protocols, building codes, and industry standards Requirements NO experience required. Basic knowledge of construction practices and familiarity with construction sites preferred Willingness to learn plumbing techniques, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and mechanical systems Experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, or carpentry is a plus Strong mechanical aptitude with an interest in HVAC systems or pipe threading processes Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements and estimations Good physical condition with the ability to stand, lift heavy materials, and work at heights as needed Reliable attitude with a desire to develop handyman skills through on-the-job training This paid apprenticeship is designed for motivated individuals eager to gain practical experience in the construction plumbing field.
