Journeyman Plumber

Overview We're looking for a skilled Journeyman Plumber to join our team at Airbenders! This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to apprentice in HVAC as part of your ongoing career development. If you're a seasoned plumber who wants to expand your skills and gain hands-on experience in HVAC, this is the role for you! As a Journeyman Plumber, you will be responsible for a variety of plumbing tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of systems in residential and commercial settings. Additionally, you'll receive the opportunity to apprentice in the HVAC trade, expanding your skills and opening new career growth avenues. Duties  Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and water systems  Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and water pressure problems  Ensure all plumbing work meets local building codes and regulations  Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of plumbing systems  Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding work completed and future needs  Keep accurate records of service, repairs, and installations  Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment  Willingness to work overtime or be on call for emergencies if needed (Weekend work is rare)

Requirements:

 Valid Journeyman Oklahoma Plumber License  Experience in residential and commercial projects  Valid driver's license with a clean driving record  Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams  Own your own tools and keep them insured  Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes and safety regulations  Willingness to apprentice in HVAC, with a desire to learn and grow in the HVAC field  Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team Experience Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber or similar role in the plumbing industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex plumbing systems. Familiarity with basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks. Experience reading blueprints and schematics is essential for this position. A background in field service work is preferred but not mandatory.
