Responsibilities Assist experienced plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems on construction sites Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to plumbing and HVAC systems Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques safely and effectively under supervision Support the assembly and installation of piping systems, fixtures, and mechanical components Participate in remodeling and maintenance tasks to ensure plumbing systems meet project specifications Follow safety protocols consistently while working on construction sites or field service locations Help with basic math calculations for measurements, pipe sizing, and material estimates Skills Basic knowledge of construction practices and plumbing fundamentals Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and protocols Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings accurately Experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading is a plus Mechanical aptitude with an understanding of HVAC systems and general maintenance tasks Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail during assembly or remodeling work Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors This paid apprenticeship is designed to equip you with the technical expertise and practical experience needed for a successful career in plumbing.
