You'll diagnose and repair residential (or commercial) plumbing systems, and present customers with clear, honest options for repairs, replacements, and system upgrades — turning service calls into long-term customer relationships. What You'll Do Diagnose plumbing issues in customers' homes, including water heaters, drain lines, fixtures, sump pumps, and repiping Perform repairs and installations to code, ensuring quality workmanship on every job Present customers with tiered pricing/options (good-better-best) and clearly explain the value of each Identify and recommend additional services or system upgrades where appropriate (water heaters, filtration, fixtures, etc.) Close sales on-site using company pricing tools and financing options Complete accurate paperwork, work orders, and material usage reports Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized service vehicle Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members Follow all safety, licensing, and code compliance requirements Participate in on-call/emergency rotation as needed What We're Looking For 4+ years of experience as a service plumber (residential and/or commercial) Proven experience presenting and closing sales in a service/home-services environment Working knowledge of local plumbing codes and safety standards Journeyman or Master Plumber license preferred (or ability to obtain per state requirements) Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable using tablets/apps for estimates, invoicing, and scheduling Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in crawlspaces, attics, and outdoor conditions Nice to Have Backflow certification Track record of exceeding sales/ticket average goals Nextstar or Sales training What We Offer Commission on sales and installs Paid time off / holidays Company and gas card Ongoing product and sales training Opportunities for advancement into lead tech or management roles
