Responsibilities Install central vacuum systems in new construction and existing residential and commercial buildings Measure, cut, and fit PVC piping and fittings Run low voltage wiring for system operation Install tubing, wall inlets, and related components accurately and securely Test systems to ensure proper suction, sealing, and overall performance Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues Work alongside other trades on job sites Track materials used and document completed work Travel to job sites as needed using a company vehicle Qualifications/Requirements Experience with central vacuum or similar system installation preferred Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and plumbing is helpful Ability to use hand tools and power tools including heavy duty right angle drills Strong attention to detail with solid math and measuring skills Good problem solving ability and mechanical aptitude Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis Comfortable working on ladders and at interior heights Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or on a team Professional attitude with strong work ethic Valid driver's license with a good driving record Work Environment Residential and commercial job sites Indoor and outdoor work depending on project Physical work including lifting, bending, and climbing ladders Occasional confined spaces and elevated work areas Wage/Pay $25.00 to $30.00 + per hour Benefits • Health insurance partially paid by employer • Paid time off
