What You'll Do As a Journeyman Service Plumber, you'll manage your assigned service calls from start to finish, taking ownership of the work and the customer experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing systems. Perform plumbing repairs, water heater service and replacement, fixture installations, repiping, drain cleaning, and other service-related work. Explain plumbing problems and repair options clearly so customers understand their choices. Obtain customer authorization before performing work and collect payment upon completion when required. Complete accurate work orders, including labor, materials, job descriptions, and photographs. Communicate regularly with dispatch and office staff regarding job progress, scheduling, and customer needs. Manage your time effectively while maintaining high standards of workmanship. Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked service vehicle. Follow applicable plumbing codes, company procedures, and safety requirements. Occasionally assist with training and mentoring apprentices. Take responsibility for completing jobs properly, including necessary follow-up. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Current Oregon Journeyman Plumbing License. Minimum two years of experience working as a licensed journeyman plumber. Strong residential and commercial service plumbing experience. Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple service assignments. Strong communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Dependable attendance, punctuality, and professional conduct. Ability to accurately document work and use mobile technology for work orders and communication. What Makes a Great Fit at MP Plumbing?
