Pipefitter:
Layout, cut, assemble, install or maintain the pipe systems, pipe supports, or related hydraulic or pneumatic equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, or industrial production or processing systems. The ideal candidate must have experience with plumbing and working on construction projects that adhere to strict safety standards. Requirements Job requires working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, rain. Wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses at all times), respirator when required. Able to work 8 -10 hours per day, 40 hours per week, and overtime as required.. Includes crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, reaching, able to routinely lift heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds and pushing and pulling of objects is required. Repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers. • 5+ years' experience as a commercial plumber/pipefitter. Reliable transportation Good attendance and punctuality required Must be self-motivated and willing to work from descriptions and blue prints and shop drawings to building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials Cut and assemble pipe systems Proficient with layout, fit up and installation (including hangers) for copper press, brazed copper systems with nitrogen purge, soldering, PVC and cast (No hub/hub and spigot) Fitting and tacking of victaulic and welded steel systems Experience using power and hand tools Physical stamina Must have layout capabilities Must have a good attitude and be willing to work with other craftsmen Must be hard working and have the drive and determination to complete the task at hand Must be dependable and willing to complete the project at hand from start to finish Temp to perm possibility $28 - $36
