Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our service plumbing team. We are looking for an expertise, prideful plumber with the right tools and equipment for residential service plumbing. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving residential service plumbing issues including but not limited to installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, ensuring all work meets safety standards and project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial buildings to remodeling jobs, contributing to the creation of safe and functional infrastructure. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and equipment on construction sites. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts and system designs. Work with crews and other team members on excavation sites and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Conduct heavy lifting and manual labor tasks such as moving materials, assembling piping components, and remodeling structures. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with plumbing systems, piping, and related mechanical components. Follow safety protocols during all field service activities, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, and other tradespeople on construction sites for seamless project execution. Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections conducted for project documentation. Experience Proven experience working in construction plumbing or related field service roles on commercial or residential sites. Strong background in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to plumbing and mechanical systems. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques. Knowledge of Plumbing systems, remodeling processes, maintenance tasks, and handyman skills is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during installation or repairs. Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and OSHA regulations. Valid driver's license with experience in commercial driving preferred for site travel or material transportation. $31.00 - $40.00 per hour
