Part-Time PlumberOverview We are seeking a dependable and experienced Part-Time Plumber to assist with plumbing maintenance and repairs at our facilities. The ideal candidate has experience troubleshooting plumbing issues, performing repairs, and completing preventive maintenance to ensure our plumbing systems remain safe and fully operational. This flexible part-time position is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and reliable service. Duties Diagnose and repair plumbing issues, including leaks, clogged drains, running toilets, and faulty fixtures. Install, repair, and replace faucets, sinks, toilets, garbage disposals, water lines, and other plumbing fixtures. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on plumbing systems. Clear clogged drains and sewer lines using appropriate tools and equipment. Respond promptly to plumbing maintenance requests and emergency repairs as needed. Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with local plumbing codes and regulations. Maintain accurate records of completed repairs and report any major plumbing concerns to management. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment. Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards. Qualifications Previous experience as a plumber or plumbing maintenance technician. Knowledge of residential and commercial plumbing systems. Ability to diagnose plumbing issues and perform repairs independently. Familiarity with plumbing tools, equipment, and safety practices. Ability to read basic diagrams and installation instructions. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks, including bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces. Excellent time management and communication skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.
