Under minimum supervision, operates, maintains, and troubleshoots building piping and drainage systems including but not limited to water supply, gas lines, sanitary lines, as well as plumbing fixtures such as showers, toilets, sinks, water heaters, dish machines in order to provide a safe and sanitary environment in all University facilities, including laboratories, athletic facilities, dining facilities, restrooms, and student residences in accordance with applicable standards of the trade and regulatory agencies. Duties and Responsibilities:
Operates, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs, as required, building plumbing equipment and fixtures consistent with manufacturer???s guidelines, design parameters, and accepted practices. Installs plumbing fixtures including but not limited to piping, connections, insulation, showers, toilets, sinks, urinals, laboratory hoods and sinks, and other equipment and fixtures as required.
