As we continue to grow, we are seeking a qualified professional to serve as our Qualifying Party to ensure our operations meet and exceed state regulatory standards. The Role We are looking for a licensed professional to serve as the Qualifying Party (QP) for our plumbing classification You will be responsible for the technical supervision of our plumbing operations and ensuring that all work performed by the company adheres to the statutes and local building codes.
Key Responsibilities Regulatory Compliance:
Act as the primary qualifier for the company's local plumbing license, ensuring full compliance with local regulations.
Technical Oversight:
Provide "active and direct supervision" as required by the ROC, which may include periodic job site inspections and reviewing project plans.
Quality Control:
Ensure all plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance meet industry standards and local codes.
Consultation:
Serve as a technical resource for our field technicians and management team to troubleshoot complex plumbing issues.
Documentation:
Assist in maintaining necessary permits and ensuring that all company work is properly documented for state audits.
Requirements & Qualifications Experience:
Must have at least 2 years of verifiable experience in the plumbing trade
Testing:
Must have already passed the Plumbing Trade Exam and the Arizona Statutes and Rules Exam (SRE) .
Clean Record:
Must be able to pass a background check and have a clean record with the ROC (no active suspensions or revocations).
Expertise:
Deep knowledge of the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) and Arizona-specific contracting laws.
Leadership:
Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor junior technicians. Benefits Competitive monthly stipend or salary.
