This vital role involves overseeing complex plumbing projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and delivering exceptional service on construction sites. As a Master Plumber, you will lead plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance for a variety of commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will help ensure that all work is performed efficiently, accurately, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities Lead and execute plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance on construction sites, ensuring adherence to blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. Read and interpret detailed construction blueprints and schematics to plan effective plumbing layouts. Utilize hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding gear, and other mechanical tools to complete tasks efficiently. Conduct accurate construction estimating for plumbing projects, including material quantities and labor costs. Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while maintaining proper ergonomic practices. Collaborate with construction teams, electricians, HVAC specialists, and project managers to coordinate work schedules and project timelines. Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety regulations, and industry standards while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Assist with remodeling, assembly, general maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting plumbing issues on-site or in the field service setting. Operate vehicles for commercial driving purposes when required to transport materials or equipment between job sites. Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues using schematics or technical manuals effectively. Experience Proven experience as a Master Plumber with extensive construction site experience in commercial or residential settings. Strong background in construction estimating, blueprint reading, pipe threading, welding, HVAC systems, and schematics interpretation. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting techniques, carpentry skills, and handyman tasks. Knowledge of mechanical systems related to plumbing and HVAC is highly desirable. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements and estimations. Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high safety standards. Valid state licensing as a Master Plumber is required; additional certifications such as CDL (Commercial Driver's License) or welding certifications are a plus.
