Plumbing Service Technician - Bluffton, SC Howell-Chase Heating & Air About the Position Howell-Chase Heating & Air is seeking an experienced Plumbing Service Technician to join our growing team in Bluffton, SC. In this role, you'll be the go-to expert for diagnosing, repairing, and installing plumbing systems for residential customers. Your technical skill, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction will help uphold the high standards our company is known for. You'll work independently and alongside other skilled technicians to deliver reliable, code compliant solutions. Clear communication, professionalism, and the ability to troubleshoot efficiently are essential as you support homeowners and contribute to our reputation for exceptional service. Pay Range is $26-$30 per hour plus commission! Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, water heater failures, and fixture malfunctions.
- Install and replace plumbing systems and components in accordance with local codes, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and system evaluations to identify potential issues.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding findings, recommended repairs, and service options.
- Maintain accurate service records and utilize company software for scheduling and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of jobs and excellent customer experience.
- Follow all safety protocols and uphold company standards on every job site. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of plumbing service and repair experience.
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems, tools, and safety procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret plumbing codes, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with plumbing systems connected to HVAC equipment.
- Certifications in specialized areas such as backflow prevention, tankless systems, or gas piping.
- Familiarity with Service Titan or similar field service software.
- Strong customer service background and confidence in client-facing interactions.
