$2,500 signing bonus (IMMEDIATE NEED) Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in residential and light commercial plumbing, service diagnostics, construction plumbing, pipe threading, blueprint reading, and plumbing system assembly. This position requires proficiency in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing plumbing systems while delivering outstanding customer service. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and light commercial buildings. Diagnose and repair plumbing issues, including water distribution, drainage, sewer, and gas piping systems. Install water heaters, tankless water heaters, fixtures, piping, drains, and water service lines. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and plumbing drawings to plan installations. Utilize pipe threading equipment to create threaded pipe connections. Weld, braze, and solder piping systems as required. Perform drain cleaning, sewer diagnostics, and plumbing inspections. Identify code compliance issues and recommend corrective actions. Conduct inspections to identify plumbing deficiencies and perform necessary repairs. Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and professionally. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and recommendations. Drive company vehicles to transport materials, tools, and equipment as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area, vehicle, and job site. Participate in on-call rotations as required. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and local plumbing codes. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of residential or commercial plumbing experience preferred. Journeyman Plumber license preferred where applicable. Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, diagnostics, and repair procedures. Experience with water heater and tankless water heater installation and service. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings. Experience with pipe threading, welding, brazing, and soldering techniques. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Strong communication and customer service skills. Self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented. Skills Proficiency in construction plumbing techniques. Ability to install, assemble, repair, and maintain plumbing systems. Experience with pipe threading and fabrication. Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills. Knowledge of plumbing codes and industry best practices. Commercial driving experience is a plus. Welding and soldering experience for secure pipe connections. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
