Experienced Plumber Job Description Join our team as a Plumber, where you will take on key projects across the Greenville area, including notable sites like Prisma Health MAAC, Greenville Federal Courthouse, and Marriott on Butler. You will lead a small crew of plumbers and helpers, requiring you to read blueprints and execute projects independently. Responsibilities Lead and manage a small crew of plumbers and helpers. Read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams to install piping systems with minimal supervision. Use your expertise to assemble and install both underground and above-ground plumbing systems in commercial and industrial new construction projects. Cut, thread, and bend pipes to required angles using precision tools. Utilize power tools to create passageways in floors and walls for pipe installation. Assemble and install a variety of piping materials, including copper, cast iron, and PVC. Join pipes using soldering and brazing techniques, along with other hardware. Conduct tests on piping systems to ensure proper functionality. Provide guidance and support to plumber helpers on the team. Essential Skills 10+ years of experience in plumbing. Proficiency in installing underground and rough-in plumbing at new industrial and commercial construction sites. Experience with multiple types of piping materials such as copper, cast iron, and PVC. Strong ability in soldering and brazing to join pipes. Capability to read blueprints and schematics with minimal guidance. Possession of personal tools required for plumbing tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in leading small crews on specific projects. Ability to work independently and execute tasks efficiently.
