The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction plumbing and possess a variety of skills necessary for installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work effectively in diverse environments, including residential and commercial settings. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in accordance with local codes and regulations. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for various plumbing tasks. Perform pipe threading, assembly, and heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary maintenance. Collaborate with construction teams on-site to ensure timely completion of projects. Provide maintenance person services as needed, including carpentry and remodeling tasks related to plumbing installations. Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Experience Proven experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of plumbing systems. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of site safety practices. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks. A valid commercial driving license is preferred but not required.
