Plumbing Apprentice

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice/ or experienced Plumber to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in plumbing and construction. This job will also include propane/ gas work as well as possibility in being trained in electrical . The Apprentice will work under the supervision of experienced plumbers/ electricians , gaining hands-on experience in various plumbing tasks while learning the trade. The role involves assisting with installations, repairs, and maintenance of plumbing and electrical systems in residential and commercial settings. If already experienced then the plumber will be expected to perform on job duty's alone or with a helper to make correct decision. Responsibilities Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various plumbing tasks. Participate in construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices. Support experienced plumbers in troubleshooting issues and performing necessary repairs. Gain knowledge of pipe threading techniques and HVAC systems as part of plumbing installations. Assist with remodeling projects by providing plumbing support during renovations. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to company policies. Skills Basic understanding of construction principles and practices. Familiarity with construction plumbing techniques is a plus. Experience with welding is advantageous but not mandatory. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing tasks. Strong mechanical knowledge to assist in diagnosing issues effectively. Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and estimations. Experience in carpentry or maintenance person tasks is beneficial for diverse project needs. Previous experience on construction sites is preferred but not required. Willingness to learn about field service operations related to plumbing systems.
