Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Plumbing Install Helper, where you'll play a vital role in supporting skilled plumbers and ensuring the successful installation of plumbing systems on various construction sites. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in plumbing and construction, providing a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, energetic environment. You'll assist with the setup, assembly, and maintenance of plumbing components, gaining valuable knowledge of blueprints, schematics, and mechanical systems. Responsibilities Assist experienced plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems according to project specifications. Handle hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment safely and efficiently during installation tasks. Support the reading and interpretation of blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to plumbing and HVAC systems. Prepare work areas by organizing materials and ensuring all necessary tools are available for plumbing tasks. Help with the assembly and installation of pipes, fixtures, and related mechanical components on construction sites. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and properly handling hazardous materials when necessary. Support site supervisors by completing basic measurements, calculations, and documentation required for project progress. Experience Prior experience in construction or related fields such as handyman work or remodeling is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided. Familiarity with construction plumbing techniques, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and mechanical knowledge is advantageous. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding techniques, or HVAC systems will be highly valued. Knowledge of construction site safety standards and basic math skills for measurements and calculations are important. Previous roles involving assembly, maintenance work, or field service support will help you succeed in this position. $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
