Plumbing Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumbing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be able to work effectively in various construction environments. This role requires hands-on experience with plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and regulations. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks. Read and interpret schematics to understand plumbing layouts and systems. Perform pipe threading and welding as necessary for different plumbing applications. Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment on construction sites. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including HVAC technicians, to ensure comprehensive service delivery. Apply basic math skills to measure, cut, and fit pipes accurately. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Experience Proven experience in construction plumbing is preferred. Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of site safety practices. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively. A commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail is essential.
