based on your Early Childhood experience . Flexible to discuss during interview. Kiddie Academy has an opening for a dynamic, caring and flexible preschool teacher to join our team. This is a vital position requiring a positive attitude, creativity, collaboration, and most of all the versatility to work with children ranging from 6-weeks through school age. Dependability is a required trait as children rely on their teacher to be present every day. As a Kiddie Academy employee, you'll be a valued member of a passionate team of child care professionals who make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families in our community every day. All candidates must meet TN licensing and training requirements, as well as Kiddie Academy training requirements, and pass a background check. CPR & First Aid Certified preferred or be willing to obtain.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for planning and implementing proprietary curriculum Completes assessments and reports throughout the day Supervises children ensuring their health, safety, and well-being at all times Counsels children when social, academic, or needs arise Ensures the appearance and cleanliness of the classroom are appropriately maintained Helps children with meal times and clean-up Must be able to speak and write clearly and use basic technology to provide details and daily reports for each child Attends and participates in staff meetings, academy events, and parent/teacher conferences as requested Ensures all Health & Safety protocols are followed at all times Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have effective classroom management and transition skills Must meet all requirements stipulated by the state for this position Must demonstrate strong dependability with consistent attendance Able to adapt to teaching in any of the Academy classrooms Have a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years old Presents a pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality Must be able to interact appropriately with students of all ages and skill levels as well as with parents, coworkers, and management Must be able to lift no less than 40 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the workday to at least waist high Must be able to work closing shift 9-6 If you're dependable, motivated by smiles, hugs from children and praise from parents, then we encourage you to click !
