Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Apprentice Plumber and kick-start your career in the construction and plumbing industry! This paid apprenticeship offers hands-on experience working alongside skilled professionals on diverse construction projects. You will learn essential plumbing techniques, safety protocols, and industry best practices while developing your mechanical knowledge and technical skills. This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their expertise in construction plumbing, HVAC systems, and maintenance tasks within a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist senior plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems on construction sites. Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to plumbing and HVAC systems. Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding tools safely and effectively under supervision. Support the assembly, remodeling, and maintenance of plumbing fixtures, piping, and related mechanical components. Conduct basic measurements and calculations using math skills to ensure precise installation and repairs. Participate in site safety procedures, including hazard identification and proper use of personal protective equipment. Help with the inspection of plumbing systems to identify issues and assist in troubleshooting mechanical problems. Experience No prior professional experience required; however, familiarity with construction site environments is a plus. Basic understanding of construction or handyman work is advantageous. Exposure to construction plumbing, carpentry, or remodeling projects is preferred. Knowledge of schematics, blueprints, or HVAC systems will be beneficial but can be learned on the job. Demonstrated ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical equipment is desirable. Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn are essential for success in this apprenticeship.
