Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction plumbing and be adept at working in various environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of plumbing systems, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and proficiency with hand and power tools. The Journeyman Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems while ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with building codes and regulations. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout of plumbing systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks. Perform pipe threading, assembly, and heavy lifting as required for installations. Conduct field service tasks including troubleshooting and maintenance of existing plumbing systems. Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure project completion. Execute welding tasks as needed for specific plumbing applications. Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety protocols on construction sites. Provide maintenance person services as necessary during remodeling projects. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills: Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong mechanical knowledge base. Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus. Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and material estimates. Experience in carpentry or remodeling is advantageous. Previous experience working on construction sites is essential. A valid commercial driving license may be required for certain positions.
