Apprentice License preferred (or obtained before reporting to a Davey Plumbing jobsite) Plumbing experience in commercial new construction is preferred High school diploma/GED Must pass drug screening and background check Clean driving record preferred with valid driver's license Reliable transportation to/from work (company truck is provided for travel to and from jobsites) Physical ability to perform the tasks of a tradesman, including but not limited to: Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull up to 50lbs on a regular basis and occasionally up to 100 lbs. Ability to work in tight spaces, reach overhead, continually walk, stand, climb, stoop, bend, kneel, reach in all directions Ability to maintain balance working off the ground using ladders, scaffolds, and/or mechanical lifts Ability to operate hand and power-driven tools and equipment commonly used in the plumbing field Ability to work outside; exposed to heat and cold Ability to work in fast-past, team environment to accomplish common company goals is a must Positively represent Davey Plumbing Co. while working on our jobs-mandatory

Apprentice :

Basic knowledge of plumbing materials and tools Basic math and geometry skills to be applied when measuring, cutting, threading, assembling, and installing plumbing materials and fixtures Ability to use power tools Ability to install, repair, replace plumbing parts as instructed Ability to learn and follow basic plumbing blueprints Ability to assist and be supervised by a Journeyman or Master Plumbers in the installation of plumbing materials Ability to perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
