Cuero, TX Position Overview Spherion Staffing is seeking a motivated Junior Plumber to join a manufacturing team building high-quality modular homes. This position is ideal for someone with previous plumbing experience who is looking to continue developing their skills in a stable, team-oriented environment. You'll work alongside experienced team members installing residential plumbing systems in a controlled indoor manufacturing facility. Responsibilities Install drain, waste, vent, and water supply lines in modular homes. Assist with residential plumbing rough-ins. Measure, cut, and assemble PVC, CPVC, and plastic water lines. Use hand tools including cutters, crimpers, and tape measures. Read and interpret basic blueprints and layout drawings. Ensure plumbing systems are installed accurately and meet quality standards. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Collaborate with electricians, carpenters, and other trades to keep production on schedule. Qualifications Previous plumbing experience required. Experience working with PVC, CPVC, and plastic water lines. Comfortable using tape measures, cutters, crimpers, and other common plumbing tools. Basic knowledge of plumbing fittings and installation methods. Ability to read basic blueprints or construction drawings. Experience with new construction or rough-in plumbing is preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
