Job Description
Structured Plumbing Services , a division of Structured Foundation Repairs , is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Texas-licensed Journeyman Plumber to join our residential plumbing team. This position is ideal for a skilled plumber who enjoys hands-on installation and repair work, takes pride in doing the job correctly, and wants steady, year-round work with an established, employee-owned company. This is primarily an installation and repair position—not a commission-only sales role. Pay $30-$45 per hour , based on experience Installation commission opportunities Overtime opportunities Full-time, year-round work What You'll Do Complete residential sewer and fresh-water plumbing repairs Install and replace drain, waste, vent, and water lines Perform under-slab plumbing repairs through tunnels and access excavations Install cleanouts, pressure-reducing valves, isolation valves, and related plumbing components Read plumbing diagrams, foundation drawings, and repair scopes Identify and communicate additional plumbing issues discovered during installation Lead and work alongside plumbing helpers on assigned projects Coordinate with excavation crews, inspectors, office staff, and other team members Complete required job notes, photographs, forms, and documentation Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout the project Ensure all work meets company standards, applicable plumbing codes, and permit requirements What We're Looking For Current Texas Journeyman Plumber license Residential plumbing installation and repair experience Experience with sewer, drain, and fresh-water systems Ability to troubleshoot problems and complete work with limited supervision Ability to lead, train, and work effectively with a plumbing helper Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Reliable attendance and dependable transportation Ability to pass applicable background and driving-record requirements Ability to safely lift materials, operate plumbing equipment, enter properly supported tunnels, and work in excavation areas Comfortable using a tablet or mobile phone to upload photographs, notes, and job documentation Professional communication and customer-service skills Preferred Experience Under-slab plumbing repairs Tunneling and excavation projects Sewer-line replacement Hydrostatic testing and leak isolation Two-way cleanout installation Residential repiping Camera equipment and line locating What We Offer Steady residential installation and repair work Competitive hourly pay plus additional earning opportunities Full-time, year-round employment Company vehicle and fuel card for approved drivers Tools and equipment provided as applicable Support from scheduling, production, and management Opportunities for advancement as our plumbing division continues to grow A team focused on quality workmanship, customer service, safety, and accountability The opportunity to become an employee-owner through our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Build Your Career—and Ownership in the Company Structured Plumbing Services is a division of Structured Foundation Repairs, a 100% employee-owned company through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
