PRIMARY PURPOSE
A working Plumber that provides direction and guidance when Foreman is not available.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or G.E.D. required Ability to speak, read and understand the English language Must have clear and acceptable driving record as determined by the Texas School Bus Driver's requirement
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

SALARY/PAYGRADE
$30.67/HS-12 Salary (based on verifiable job-related experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
Minimum 7 years experience in the trade Complete working knowledge of codes and ordinances concerning Plumbing systems Read, comprehend and edit specifications and prints for new construction
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Perform all responsibilities of a Plumber I, II, III and IV Maintain a good working relationship with fellow employees Serve as first contact for problems, concerns or grievances Make recommendations concerning advancement and discipline of staff to Foreman Approve purchases, work orders and daily business when Foreman is not available Meet with Foreman daily to review and update jobs Coordinate and assist in department with modifications, work orders, emergencies and large projects as needed to complete assignments Perform other duties assigned by Foreman
WORKING CONDITIONS
Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Must be able to lift and carry 75 pounds. Be available to work different schedules or shifts to accomplish tasks. Be available for after hour demands, subject to 24 hour responsibility. Maintain emotional control under stress. Ability to work alone. Ability to keep information confidential.
