Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be well-versed in plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires the ability to read blueprints and schematics, as well as perform heavy lifting and pipe threading tasks. The Journeyperson Plumber will work on various projects, including residential and commercial plumbing systems, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Perform pipe threading and ensure proper fitting of pipes and fixtures. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs. Collaborate with HVAC technicians to ensure integrated system functionality. Handle heavy lifting tasks associated with plumbing installations and repairs. Provide maintenance person services as needed for remodeling projects. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber with relevant certifications or licenses. Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems and HVAC integration. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Experience with pipe threading techniques and equipment operation. Commercial driving experience is a plus but not mandatory. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
