Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Master Plumber to lead and execute plumbing projects across residential and commercial construction sites. In this vital role, you will oversee plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance, ensuring all work complies with local building codes and industry standards. Your expertise will drive quality craftsmanship, safety, and efficiency on every project, while managing teams of plumbers and coordinating with other construction professionals. Duties Lead and supervise plumbing teams on construction sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to code specifications Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans to accurately execute plumbing installations and repairs Ensure all plumbing work complies with local building codes, plumbing building codes, and construction regulatory standards Perform construction estimating for plumbing projects by assessing materials, labor, and time requirements Install, maintain, and repair domestic water systems, commercial plumbing systems, HVAC components, and heavy-duty piping using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques Manage plumbing system maintenance schedules and troubleshoot issues related to plumbing system failures or inefficiencies Conduct building code analysis to ensure compliance during remodeling or new construction projects; interpret technical drawings for accurate implementation Oversee the management of construction site safety protocols related to plumbing activities; enforce adherence to OSHA standards Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding project progress or technical issues Supervise the assembly of plumbing components and manage the use of construction site equipment including hand tools and heavy machinery Skills Extensive knowledge of plumbing building codes, local building codes, and construction regulatory compliance Proven experience in residential plumbing, commercial plumbing, and construction site operations Strong blueprint reading skills coupled with the ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately Mechanical aptitude with expertise in pipe threading, welding, schematics interpretation, HVAC systems, and pipe assembly Skilled in managing plumbing teams through effective team supervision and leadership abilities Construction estimating skills for materials procurement and project planning Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting techniques, carpentry basics, and handyman tasks Ability to perform basic math calculations essential for measurements and estimations in construction projects Experience in managing field service operations involving maintenance or repairs of plumbing systems Knowledge of construction plans related to remodeling or new builds; ability to analyze building code compliance issues Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills for client interactions Valid state-issued license as a Master Plumber; additional certifications such as welding or commercial driving are a plus Join our team as a Licensed Master Plumber if you're passionate about delivering top-quality craftsmanship while leading innovative projects.
