The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction plumbing, mechanical systems, and field service work. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and residential projects. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong technical knowledge, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading. A commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and efficient project completion is essential. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in new construction, remodeling, and maintenance projects. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and repairs. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading machines to complete plumbing tasks. Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on construction sites. Conduct system testing to verify proper operation of plumbing installations. Collaborate with construction teams including carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate project timelines. Troubleshoot mechanical issues related to plumbing systems and implement effective solutions. Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to all safety protocols. Assist in remodeling projects by providing expertise in plumbing and related mechanical systems. Read schematics and technical manuals for system assembly or repair procedures. Skills Valid Journeyman Plumbing License Strong knowledge of construction site practices, blueprints reading, and schematic interpretation. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, pipe threading machines, and other mechanical tools. Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems, pipe installation, remodeling, and maintenance work.
