Job Summary Seeking a part time Apprentice Plumber for our Lakehills/Pipe Creek location ! This paid apprenticeship offers hands-on experience working alongside seasoned professionals on a variety of construction projects. You will learn essential skills such as pipe installation, system maintenance, blueprint reading, and safety protocols while contributing to the successful completion of residential, commercial, and remodeling projects and daily service calls. This role is perfect for motivated individuals who are working on a degree part time and/or eager to develop technical expertise and build a solid foundation in plumbing and construction trades. We guarantee you a 20 hour check even if you only work 5 hours that week. Some weeks will be 40 hours if you're available. We try to take Friday's off if possible and work short days. Jobs start at 8-9am most days and will most likely be off by 3. Duties Assist with pipe installation, fitting, and assembly on construction sites under supervision Support the maintenance and repair of plumbing systems, ensuring proper function and compliance with building codes Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to aid in project execution Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment safely and effectively Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment on all construction sites Participate in remodeling projects by installing fixtures, repairing leaks, and performing routine plumbing maintenance Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high-quality standards Qualifications Construction experience or background in related trades is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is essential Basic knowledge of plumbing systems, pipe threading, welding, and mechanical concepts is a plus Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings enhances your ability to succeed in this role Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment demonstrates readiness for the apprenticeship Strong attention to detail, basic math skills for measurements and calculations, and a commitment to safety protocol adherence are vital Customer service orientation and good communication skills help foster positive interactions on job sites Ability to work outdoors on construction sites in varying weather conditions while maintaining a proactive attitude Embark on an exciting journey into the plumbing trade with us! You spend 5 years with us, you'll have you a Journeymans license and making at least $35 an hour.
