In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various construction sites and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, extensive experience with construction plumbing, and the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics accurately. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to diverse projects, ensuring the safety, efficiency, and functionality of plumbing systems in both new builds and remodeling initiatives. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation and repairs. Perform pipe threading, welding, and assembly tasks to connect pipes securely according to specifications. Conduct system inspections to identify leaks, blockages, or malfunctions; troubleshoot issues efficiently. Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate plumbing work within project timelines while adhering to safety standards. Assist with remodeling projects by removing old fixtures and installing new plumbing components. Utilize mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems when necessary for integrated building services. Lift heavy materials safely during installation or repair activities while following proper ergonomics. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used for project records. Support site cleanup and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout all phases of work. Experience Proven experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of plumbing codes and standards. Hands-on experience with welding, pipe threading, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation. Familiarity with construction site operations, heavy lifting techniques, and the use of hand tools and power tools. Prior handyman or remodeling experience is beneficial for versatile project support. Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements, quantities, and system specifications. Demonstrated capability in working safely on construction sites while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
