Job Description

Licensed Plumber Our plumbers are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems. These tasks include troubleshooting systems, replacing malfunctioning fixtures, and installing new pipes while providing excellent customer service. Additionally, you will also be responsible for communicating with customers regarding their systems, as well as the estimated cost to fix the customers system issues.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances such as dishwashers and water heaters, and fixtures such as sinks and toilets, using hand and power tools. Cut openings in structures to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings, using hand and power tools. Repair and maintain plumbing, replacing defective washers, replacing or mending broken pipes, and opening clogged drains. Assemble pipe sections, tubing and fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing and welding equipment. Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks Locate and mark the position of pipe installations, connections, passage holes, and fixtures in structures, using measuring instruments such as rulers and levels. Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angle, using hand and power tools or machines such as pipe cutters, pipe-threading machines, and pipe-bending machines. Properly record system component information and repair requirements for all service jobs per company policy Meet key performance metrics, scheduling demands, and company warranty product attachment goals Attend team meetings as instructed on time Look for ways to improve business performance and enhance the customer experience Maintain truck stock inventory and parts documentation process per the company guidelines and standards
Qualifications:
Ability to work well within a team-oriented environment and build effective relationships within the team Must be able to bend, lift, carry, stoop, crawl, sit, stand, drive, reach above, walk, push, pull, fine manipulation, and use hands frequently Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the business, to include an on-call rotation Must display strong communication skills and technical competence. Follow OSHA requirements and safety precautions per company procedures and policies Results oriented and customer focused Strong time management skills and a self-starting mentality Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis Good driving record and valid driver's license Experience/Other Requirements Tradesmen/Journeyman Plumbers License 3+ years' experience in a plumbing service and maintenance position
Education:
High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience. Plenty of room to grow in our company.
Schedule:
8 hour shift Monday to Friday Some on call
