Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing installations meet safety standards, building codes, and project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial buildings to remodeling efforts, utilizing your technical skills and mechanical knowledge to deliver top-quality results. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute plumbing layouts accurately. Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to assemble and connect plumbing components. Conduct system inspections to identify issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements efficiently. Collaborate with construction teams, electricians, HVAC technicians, and other trades to ensure seamless project progress. Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed for project records. Skills Proven experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of plumbing codes and safety standards. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to plumbing systems. Mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems, pipe threading, welding techniques, and schematic interpretation. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe cutters, threading machines, and welding equipment. Strong field service experience with the ability to troubleshoot complex plumbing issues on-site. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout planning. Knowledge of carpentry principles useful for remodeling or renovation projects. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining focus on quality workmanship. Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Valid commercial driver's license preferred for transporting materials or equipment when necessary.
