We're seeking a licensed Commercial Gas Plumber to install, repair, test, and maintain commercial gas piping systems on a wide variety of construction projects. What You'll Do As a Commercial Gas Plumber, you'll be responsible for safely installing and servicing commercial gas systems while ensuring every project meets code, safety standards, and customer expectations. Responsibilities Install, repair, modify, and maintain commercial natural gas and propane piping systems Perform gas pressure testing, leak detection, and system start-ups Install gas piping for commercial equipment including boilers, rooftop units, furnaces, water heaters, commercial kitchens, generators, and specialty equipment Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and commercial construction documents Coordinate daily work with general contractors, project managers, inspectors, and other trades Troubleshoot gas system issues and provide effective solutions Ensure all installations comply with local, state, and national plumbing and fuel gas codes Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite Document work performed, including photos and field notes when necessary Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working condition Assist in training and mentoring apprentices as needed Types of Projects You'll work on a variety of commercial construction projects, including: New commercial construction Tenant finish-outs Commercial remodels Retrofit projects Tilt-wall buildings Office buildings Retail centers Restaurants and commercial kitchens Industrial facilities High-rise buildings What We're Looking For Current Texas Tradesman, Journeyman, or Master Plumbing License Experience installing and servicing commercial gas piping systems Strong knowledge of fuel gas codes and commercial plumbing systems Ability to read blueprints and construction documents Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Strong work ethic with attention to detail Professional communication and customer service skills Team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently when needed Why Join SWAN?
